Although "TERA" transitioned to the hybrid free-to-play model last week, the game's in-game store had yet to open. Today, the store finally opened for business. Players can buy costumes, boosts, mounts, and more in the Valkyon Outfitters.
Players can purchase things from the Valkyon Outfitters by first buying En Masse Points (EMP) from the official "TERA" website. The available increments are as follows:
- 1100 EMP for $10
- 2420 EMP for $20
- 5060 EMP for $40
- 13200 EMP for $100
These points can be used in-game to buy a number items. Moreover, players that buy En Masse Points now will receive a bonus En Masse Entertainment halo.
The Valkyon Outfitters has a variety of convenience and vanity items. Many of which come in 7-day, 30-day, permanent character, and permanent account versions each with different price points. For example, the Night Mare mount can be purchased in the following ways:
- 7-day access to the mount by one character is 385 EMP
- 30-day access to the mount by one character is 880 EMP
- Permanent access to the mount by one character is 1650 EMP
- Permanent access to the mount for the entire account is 2750 EMP
Grab bags and lockboxes are also part of "TERA's" new model. Grab bags are 165 EMP each and have a chance to contain a special black magic outfit (alongside other goodies) while lockboxes (called strongboxes in "TERA") can be opened with keys costing 99 EMP each.
Players can still subscribe to "TERA" for additional benefits. Click here for more information. Of course, everyone can download and play "TERA" for free.
