It will be a big event by village standards, and for the locals, anything they can walk to and enjoy in and around the setting of Constitution Park is a plus. From 5 to 9 p.m. this Friday, the first Tequesta Food Truck Pow Wow will feature fourteen food trucks ready to feed all comers, along with reggae music and a playground area for kids. Entry to the event is free; food costs will vary by truck, but if you’ve never tried out food truck fare, you’ll find it’s not only tasty, but worth every penny.
NOTE: North Dover Road will close at 4:30 for this event, and the playground will be open only until dusk.
The greenmarket dates originally announced for the village have changed. It’s a good change in a couple of ways: there will no longer be any competition for parking with the churches in the area, and if you are a fan of the Palm Beach Gardens Greenmarket, you will no longer have to choose between these two. The market also starts earlier, avoiding the heat of the day.
Tequesta’s greenmarket dates have moved from Sunday to Saturday, still at Constitution Park, always from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and here is the 2013-2014 schedule:
October 19, 2013
November 16, 2013
December 21, 2013
January 18, 2014
February 15, 2014
March 15, 2014
April 19, 2014
Constitution Park is located at 399 Seabrook Road, one block north of Tequesta Drive
