The second annual Game Set Match Gala and Tennis Fashion Show, presented by the Houston Tennis Association and Tennis Express, will be held Thursday, Jan. 31, at the Westin Oaks Ballroom, 5011 Westheimer.
Former touring professional Todd Martin, ranked as high as No. 4 in the world, is the guest speaker for the event, which raises funds to support Houston’s National Junior Tennis and Learning (NJTL) youth development programs.
DeeDee and Wallis Marsh are honorary chairs for the evening, which includes a cocktail reception, silent auction, seated dinner and fashion show. Lara Lehmann is the gala chair.
The HTA NJTL Chapter was established in 1990 and serves children ages 4 to 18 through tennis, education, community service and scholarship programs. Each year more than 6,000 students are served in 45 neighborhood parks and 40 schools.
