The Tennessee Titans had to make some tough calls to cut their squad down to regulation numbers and the deadline was today. Among the missing are quarterback Rusty Smith, who was cut, and Marc Mariana, who was placed on injured reserve. More discussion on the other cuts can be found on the ESPN website at 'Tennessee Titans cut-down analysis'.
With the cuts done and over with, the Titans can now get the team ready for the first regular season game which will come up on September 8th, against the Steelers. The first two regular season games are away, (the second game is against the Texans) with the third game against the Chargers being the first Titans home game.
The new NFL security rules are now in full effect, and the attached video discusses the security rule which does not allow purses being taken into the football stadiums. Be warned, if any ladies plan to take a large purse into one of the NFL games, it is not permitted, and the purse will have to be left at home, or in their car. No exceptions.
Leave us comments, please, and let us know what you think of this security rule and also, of our Titans' chance for a Super Bowl this season.
