The Tennessee Titans and Green Bay Packers pre-season American Football 2014 game is today in Nashville at the Titans home field, the LP Field on August 9 as our newest NFL season has now begun. With the Tennessee Titans having the home-field advantage, we expected to see good things from our hometown team.

The rain decidedly has had an impact on both of these teams and on the crowd as we could see the pouring-down rain as the teams were striving to play through the rain on the football turf.

We can't give you a play-by-play but at the last 52 seconds or so of this pre-season game in Nashville, the Tennessee Titans were ahead and 'took a knee', with the final score of Titans: 20 and Green Bay Packers: 16.

This certainly sounds like an encouraging start of the Titans 2014 American Football season and we are all looking forward to more excitement as the year of football games goes along.

As we check into the coming season's schedule for the Tennessee Titans, we must remember that this is a new coach for this new season and several new players among the team members. We will be missing, among others, former team member, Chris Johnson, and we welcome back Marc Mariana from the injured listing of last season. Jake Locker continues as quarterback for the Titans and we will see several other familiar faces among the team members.

Leave us notes in the comment section below to let us know what you think the chances of the Tennessee Titans are to reach high for that Super Bowl ring this season. Can they do it? Will they be able to succeed where past teams under this franchise have failed?
