It's only three weeks until Super Bowl XLVII weekend in Las Vegas. Room rates for the weekend at the upper-end resorts (i.e. Aria, Caesars Palace, Wynn, & Palazzo) are running within $700 - $900+ for a three night stay (Fri. - Mon.) before taxes and nightly resort fee charges. There are some reasonable 3-night stay room deals for Super Bowl weekend enthusiasts who don't want or need to room with the prettiest Vegas visitors at the fanciest resorts.
In a recent LVE companion article , we listed the cheapest Vegas Strip hotel room rates for game night (Feb.3, 2013) only. Most visitors will likely prefer to stay in Vegas for the entire weekend of Super Bowl insanity. This article lists the results of our room rate research regarding 3-night stays beginning Friday, Feb.1 through checkouts on Monday Feb. 4, 2013.
Our rate resources were derived from either individual Strip hotel websites or from consolidator hotel booking site Travelaxe as of today's available rate info. In one instance, we phoned one Strip property because their booking website wasn't functioning properly.
We've listed the cheapest rate quotes ( which excludes resort fees and taxes) for the above 3-night stay window and designated the source of the online quote as either from the hotel's website (HW) or Travelaxe (T). Check provided links to check quotes and availability or book rooms.

None of the above 3-night stay quotes include resort fees (which range from $7.95 to $25 per night) or room taxes ( add 12 - 13% of total bill). Eight of the ten cheapest rate quotes were from individual hotel booking websites vs the Travelaxe source. Though hotel booking engines often offer lowest rates for their rooms, Travelaxe at times lists considerable room rate savings as compared to hotel booking sites and other sources. Virtually all Vegas hotels have Best Rate Guarantee policies as a component of their website marketing protocols.
As rooms begin to fill up for the Super Bowl weekend festivities, these rates will no doubt increase due to effects of supply and demand. Those interested in booking a weekend in Vegas during Super Bowl XLVII should book soon.
