Ten gospel songs that celebrate Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is a day set aside in November to give thanks. Family and friends around the nation will gather to celebrate the day in some manner. These ten gospel songs, many of them not specifically written for the occasion, serve as reminders of the signifigance of giving thanks.

2. We Gather Together~ Traditional. This 1626 Dutch hymn has become synonymous with Thanksgiving. Many Baby Boomers may recall learning the song in grade school. “We gather together to ask the Lord’s blessing….”
