Travelers who plan on enjoying the 2013/2014 New Years Eve (NYE) celebration in Las Vegas should have previously booked rooms weeks if not months ago. Room pricing will only increase and availability will only decrease as the big party weekend dates approach...to nobody's surprise. Well over 300,000 visitors will descend on the Strip for the year's biggest annual hoorah. For potential late-booking Las Vegas NYE revelers who don't mind lodging at some of the less ritzy properties and locations on Las Vegas Blvd, there are some options left roughly 3 weeks ahead of the big shindig.
We've compiled the current (as of today Dec. 8, 2013) ten lowest hotel rates for 5 - night stay windows and individual dates from Friday, Dec. 27 through Tuesday, Dec.31 (checkout on Wed., Jan.1) on the Las Vegas Strip. The info sources for these data were compiled from either Travelaxe or the Vegas.com consolidator booking sites. We selected these two sites because, on average, their overall rates were the lowest of all consolidator sites that we surveyed (Kayak, Orbitz, and Expedia). Travelaxe rate quotes comprise most of the info provided below.
Travelers interested in any of the more glamorous, fancier places to crash on the Strip can still find some of the better discounted quotes at either of these two sites. Five-night stays at hotels such as Bellagio ($2111+), Venetian ($2137+), and Wynn/Encore ($2316+) are available at Travelaxe (as of this writing).
We recommend potential travelers also check individual hotel websites before final bookings to determine current room availability, website rates (to take advantage of Best Rate Guarantee policies offered by all these hotels), and any/all taxes and fees. Further, some hotels may require a multiple night stay during this massive party event date window. Individual hotel website links are provided within the list below. Room rates and availability are likely to change hourly / daily between now and the NYE celebration window.
These rates involve standard rooms for 2 guests and include most standard hotel taxes and fees. Posted rates do not include resort fees charged by individual hotels ( ranging $11 - $20 per room per night for all these hotels). Hotel rates are listed in ascending cost order for successive individual dates from Friday, Dec.27 through Tuesday Dec. 31 (NYE) with checkouts on New Years Day (Wed., Jan.1, 2014). Total costs for a potential 5-night stay at individual hotels are also provided ( just don't forget to add on those pesky daily resort fees at each hotel).
