As the temperature drops, warm up with discounted whiskey. All through February, 2012, Bridge Bar invites guests to take advantage of winter weather with falling mercury and prices!Who would have thought Chicagoans would hope for colder temps?
Normally available in $10 you-call-it cocktails, whiskey prices are dropping: the farther the mercury falls, the farther the prices fall. Bridge Bar will announce the daily high temperature every morning via Facebook for the daily whiskey special! For every degree the temperature drops below 35˚F, the price of whiskey you-call-its will be priced at the corresponding degree. Already an incredible deal, the whiskey will be priced at $3.50 when the temperature is 35˚F. Today, for example, it's going to be 29 degrees so expect $2.90 whiskeys. The price will drop 10 cents for every degree the temperature falls. Any time the temp is below zero, the cost will be 10 cents.
35 degrees = $3.50
20 degrees = $2.00
15 degrees = $1.50
3 degrees = $0.30 and so on
2 degrees = $0.20
1 degree - $0.10
