The Polk County Police Department’s Narcotics Enforcement Team would like to announce the arrests of 10 individuals that resulted from an investigation into the distribution, sales, and trafficking of methamphetamine.
The arrests were made in Polk and Floyd Counties on Thursday evening, November 17, 2011. Polk County Narcotics Enforcement Team agents conducted the investigation with the assistance of the Bartow/Cartersville Drug task. The investigation was initiated after agents received an anonymous tip regarding the illegal drug sales.
The following individuals were arrested on Daryl Road in Silver Creek (Floyd County) and found to be in possession of more than one pound of methamphetamine.
- Daniel Guzman, age 30, of 5 Clark Avenue, Rome, Ga.,
- Francisco Hernandez Jr., age 25, of 2460 Rome Highway, Cedartown, Ga.
- Rodriso Martinez, age 21, of 1708 Johnson Lake Road, Cedartown, Ga.
- Hilario Barrera, age 20, of 68 Franklin Street, Cedartown, Ga.
