Ten arrested at Atlanta nightclub for nude dancing, drug sale

Ten people were arrested early Saturday morning at an Atlanta nightclub, and some were charged with dancing nude without a permit.
But police have not released the names of the people arrested or their charges.

The arrests were made shortly before 3 a.m. at Déjà Vu at 1575 Joseph E. Boone Blvd. in northwest Atlanta by the department’s vice unit, according to Atlanta police.

“During the investigation, 10 people were arrested on charges ranging from nude dancing without permits to the sale of marijuana,” police spokesman Officer John Chafee said.

Channel 2 Action News said the unidentified club’s owner was charged with a liquor license violation and an unidentified disc jockey was held on narcotics charges. Eight strippers were also arrested during the operation, according to the news station.

No details were released on what led police to conduct a raid on the bar and there were no reports of injury.
