Temptations singer dies has become a trending topic on popular search engines this week as the Huffington Post reported this Saturday, Feb. 23, that Damon Harris, a star member of the iconic musical group The Temptations, died this Monday, Feb. 18, at the age of 62 from a long battle with prostate cancer.
The Baltimore Sun reported that Damon Harris of The Temptations — passed away this week after three long months in the hospital fighting a long-term battle with prostate cancer. The Grammy winner joined the Motown group back in 1971 when he was 21 years old, where he was originally a singer in the band, Eddie Kendricks. Some of his hit songs Damon Harris participated in were “Take a Look Around” and “Love Woke Me Up This Morning.”
Temptations singer dies also brought Damon Harris’ life after The Temptations as well. He was fired from the music group back in 1975 for controversial comments, and then joined The Young Vandals, before going on to make several independent disco and soul hits.
Damon Harris was a major supporter of cancer research, founding his own foundation back in 2001.
