Tempt with Vengeance was spoiled today Oct. 18, 2013 in a media update to the image gallery of DailyMTG.com. This new rare red sorcery "Magic: The Gathering" card from "Commander (2013 Edition)" can put a large armada of 1/1 red Elemental creature tokens with haste onto your side of the battlefield.
Tempt with Vengeance - XR
Tempting offer - Put X 1/1 red Elemental creature tokens with haste onto the battlefield. Each opponent may put X 1/1 red Elemental creature tokens with haste onto the battlefield. For each player who does, put X 1/1 red Elemental creature tokens with haste onto the battlefield.
Like Tempt with Immortality and Tempt with Glory Tempt with Vengeance gives your opponents the decision of choosing to help you by helping themselves. Tempt with Vengeance's power scales with the amount of mana you can produce and the number of players left in the game. It's interesting to note that although the longer a match goes and more mana you can produce you'll likely have fewer opponents left to accept your tempting offer. Assuming each of your adversaries takes the bait, you'll end up with an overwhelming amount of creatures.
Aside from enchantments that double the amount of tokens such as Doubling Season or Primal Vigor, one way to ensure you have the upper hand is to have anthem effects like Spear of Heliod or any other card that pumps your creatures.
How will you use Tempt with Vengeance?
