Tempestt Bledsoe, 39, known as Vanessa Huxtable on "The Cosby Show", made an appearance on the Jimmy Fallon show, Friday, Jan. 4, with Bill Cosby, and the two brought laughs to the audience.
Bledsoe reflected on her college days working with Bill Cosby. While Tempestt thought she had to make a choice between college and "The Cosby Show", she was surprised to learn that Bill Cosby insisted that she take a full load of classes, then fit the show in her schedule.
Bill Cosby played the father figure on and off the show. He has always been a proponent for education.
Bill Cosby, so graciously applauded Tempestt for being the beautiful lady she is today – that acted as his daughter on the family show.
In the video to the left, Dr. Huxtable and Vanessa (as they were known on the show), did a rendition of the popular show when the Huxtables sang, Ray Charles’ “Night Time Is The Right Time”.
Tempestt has continued with her acting career, most recently, as a star on NBC sitcom, "Guys With Kids". She has a degree in finance from NYU. Tempestt has been in a long-term relationship with "A Different World's", Darryl M. Bell for 16 years, also known as Ron.
