Temperatures return to near average today in Clarksville

Skies will begin to break this afternoon over the Clarksville area after the system that moved through last night moves east. Temperatures today will return to near average as highs will drop back into the forties today. A sunny day is expected Saturday as Clarksville will be in-between two major systems with high temperatures moderating into the lower fifties. The next system will arrive on Sunday and will bring scattered showers and possibly a thunderstorm as it moves through. The rain with the system will pass through the region by Monday, but the temperatures will not drop until the middle of the workweek.
