During an interview given at IGN today with Telltale Games writer Gary Whitta, it was revealed that the developer is working on a new “Walking Dead” game that will release before the series’ second season releases. No details as to what this new title may be were given, but fans were told that they “won’t have to wait for season two to play more Walking Dead.”
Whitta went on to say that Telltale Games has begun production of next season of “Walking Dead” development is still in early stages and season two is still some time from seeing a release. However, due to a different “Walking Dead” project hinted at by the writer, fans can look forward to getting their hands on another Telltale “Walking Dead” game before the release of the second season.
There is no knowing, at this point, if this new Telltale Games “Walking Dead” project is a full title, a side series, or something smaller. Regardless, gamers looking from more “Walking Dead” from the developer will get it sooner than was initially expected.
