Television providers confuse clients

Television service providers have spent countless marketing dollars vying for attention and the competition for providing TV packages to customers looking to get the most entertainment for the least amount of money is incredibly fierce.

Although cable companies operate in regulated territories, there are still more choices than ever before for customers looking for a better deal. With so many options and a marketplace saturated with promotions, it has become hard for customers to determine which is best.

This competition has opened the door for a new industry that combines the capability of offering another outlet for TV service providers to market their services with the transparency to help offer customers a better way to find a TV programming package that works best for them.

The problem is that all providers package less watched networks with highly watched ones. So no matter what, the user gets channels they have no intention of using. Ideally, everyone wants to hand-pick their channels.

Since there are so many promotions and deals, it is then best to direct customers to a representative that can find the right match at the best possible price for the customer’s needs. The time it takes to comparison shop can be eliminated with one simple phone call. Online companies are now cropping up to offer this service.

The key to this business model is being able to provide customers with up-to-date information like all the current promotions along with the packages and discounts that are available in any particular area or region. All a customer will have to do is make a short list of the services and programming options that are desired. A representative will then do the rest.

Since promotions change and vary from region to region, the websites are not much of a tool for pricing as they are a reference for accessing basic information about the available TV provider services.

These resources aid customers in their decision-making process and also educate them with simple technical issues like setting up a TV or DVR. Customers want more information from their providers, such as: What apps can allow users to watch programming on smart phones? How to program their DVR while away from home?

Entertainment and TV programming has become a very important part of our daily life and with TV providers offering discounts linked to service commitments of a year or longer, it is important to be satisfied with a selection.

Saving customers money, time and headaches all adds up to a business idea with a future.
