Television legend Ed Asner to portray FDR at The Milwaukee Theatre

This morning, Feb. 25, Zizzo Marketing + PR + New Media provided a press release announcing a one-man show starring the critically acclaimed Ed Asner. Tickets are now on sale for The Milwaukee Theatre's "Ed Asner as FDR" on Saturday, March 16 at 7 p.m.

"Ed Asner as FDR" is based on "Sunrise at Campobello", a Broadway hit that ran for 70 weeks between 1958-1959. It follows the inner workings of President Roosevelt from his inauguration to WWII. During this one-man show, Ed Asner artfully portrays one of America's leaders as he reflects on some of the most important decisions made for the country.

Winner of seven Emmy and five Golden Globe awards, Asner is most recently known for his his lead role as the voice of "Up"'s main character and his Broadway tour with Paul Rudd. Asner is a member of the TV Academy Hall of Fame and has given several exceptional performances, most memorably that of Lou Grant in "The Mary Tyler Moore Show". Asner's solo performance as Franklin D. Roosevelt is sure to amaze audiences as the skillful actor is apt to do.
