Dr. Teleka Patrick, who is serving her medical residency in southwestern Michigan, remains missing after vanishing three weeks ago, however, video evidence of her whereabouts shortly before she disappeared has surfaced, according to a Dec. 30, 2013 CNN report.
Teleka, 30, failed to show up for work on Dec. 6, and the night prior, police found her car abandoned in Indiana in a ditch alongside an interstate about 100 miles away from Kalamazoo where the young doctor worked.
According to CNN, Dec. 5 surveillance video from a local Radisson hotel shows Teleka at the front desk just after 7:30 p.m. She is dressed in all black and spends about 10 minutes speaking with the reception desk, but then leaves after the conversation.
She can be seen exiting out the hotel’s front doors at about 7:48 p.m. and getting on a shuttle bus, CNN reports.
According to WXYZ, Carl Clatterbuck, a private investigator hired by Teleka’s family stated, “The shuttle driver said she (Teleka) seemed nervous, even ducking down between vehicles, as if she was afraid of being seen by someone.”
CNN also notes that although Teleka’s mother was not aware of any romantic relationship her daughter was engaged in, two recently discovered YouTube videos uploaded in November show her “cooing and singing to someone unnamed and apparently unknown.” One of them also shows a table “set for two with omelets and pancakes.”
Clatterbuck told CNN investigators are examining the footage to determine who Teleka was speaking to in the videos and if that person knows what happened to her.
