Authorities in Kalamazoo, Michigan announced they will release details surrounding the disappearance of missing doctor, Teleka Patrick, according to a Jan. 8, 2014 Fox 19 report.
Kalamazoo County Undersheriff Pali Matyas told the Kalamazoo Gazette the information will be released within the next two weeks because “the investigation is starting to wrap up.”
According to Fox 19, one of the details the investigators may release is whether they believe Teleka is still alive.
Teleka, 30, failed to show up for work on Dec. 6, 2013.
The night prior, police found her car abandoned in an Indiana ditch alongside an interstate about 100 miles away from Kalamazoo where she worked. Reports indicate her wallet was still inside the vehicle.
Teleka’s cell phone was left at her place of employment, Borgess Hospital.
According to CNN, Dec. 5 surveillance video from a local Radisson hotel shows Teleka at the front desk just after 7:30 p.m. She is dressed in all black and spends about 10 minutes speaking with the reception desk. Teleka then leaves after failing to book a room.
She can be seen exiting out the hotel’s front doors at about 7:48 p.m. and getting on a shuttle bus, which took her to her car, CNN reports.
