The Jan. 1, 2014 event will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. in front of FBI headquarters in Washington, DC.
According to WKZO, the Pray at the Pump Movement vigil will ask Adventist Churches to raise funds to help in the search for Teleka.
Teleka, 30, failed to show up for work on Dec. 6, 2013.
The night prior, police found her car abandoned in an Indiana ditch alongside an interstate about 100 miles away from Kalamazoo where the young doctor worked. Reports indicate her wallet was still inside the vehicle.
Teleka’s cell phone was left at her place of employment, Borgess Hospital.
According to CNN, Dec. 5 surveillance video from a local Radisson hotel shows Teleka at the front desk just after 7:30 p.m. She is dressed in all black and spends about 10 minutes speaking with the reception desk. Teleka then leaves after failing to book a room.
She can be seen exiting out the hotel’s front doors at about 7:48 p.m. and getting on a shuttle bus, which took her to her car, CNN reports.
Teleka’s mother was reportedly not aware of any romantic relationship her daughter was engaged in, however, two recently discovered YouTube videos uploaded in November show her “cooing and singing to someone unnamed and apparently unknown.” One of them also shows a table “set for two with omelets and pancakes,” according to CNN.
