Headquartered in Denver, StarTek hires customer service agents to work from their homes. Currently, they are looking for Denver area residents to fill positions as technical support agents.
Some of their requirements are that you must be fluent in English, be reliable, mature, have a strong work ethic and have the ability to work unsupervised. Job duties include providing technical support to customers regarding equipment, communicating with customers on the phone, through written correspondence and resolving customer issues on the first call.
As in most call center type telecommuting jobs, you must have a quiet home office. A landline phone, high speed Internet, reliable computer, a call center grade phone and headset are required.
