Welcome to a new social network site just for pets! Yes, Facebook is king of social networking but have you tried creating a profile featuring your pet or pets? I was thinking of a Facebook profile for Prince Charming, my former feline family member. You know every woman should have a prince charming in their life! After reviewing the Facebook questions I didn’t feel comfortable establishing a presence for Prince Charming or his canine brothers. For me, I wanted a network environment for all my family pet members. A couple of years ago, my family members consisted of 3 canine kids and 1 feline kid. Have you ever heard the phrase “Ask and it is given”?
Virtual Petwork, created here in Austin, is a 100% free social networking site for types of animals, shelters & related businesses. Here you can connect with old pet pals, make new pets pals, share photos, share status updates, support your favorite pet charity, designate siblings & cousins with the family tree function and much more!
Hey, Chester and Mousse, my current canine kids, have cousins (a canine and feline) in College Station. This would be a great way to post their daily antics. I recently read in an email about their feline cousin getting into trouble!
Foster pet parents here in Austin as well as all over the world have a new venue to upload pictures, describe their foster pet’s unique personality, and update their status. This social network site automatically emails you when someone writes on your wall or writes to you. I support numerous pet charities so I’ll be seeking their accounts to express my appreciation for all they do to save pet lives!
Beginning April 11th through April 30th, Virtualpetwork.com will donate $1 for every new member that signs up to the Japan earthquake victims. They will be donating to the Red Cross.
Come join the fun! Virtual Petwork is open to ALL types of pets.
