March is a busy month, what with Easter coming up. There are eggs to be dyed, Easter bonnets to choose, and of course, writing to be done.
Writing, you say? Oh, yes, my friends. Especially my teen friends!!
At the In Print author’s fair event at Barnes & Noble in October, several In Print members reached out to the teen community of writers in the Rockford area, and they were absolutely overwhelmed with the response. Our In Print members were convinced there was a need for a writing group, specifically for teens—and they were right!
Given that knowledge, Teens In Print writing group, or TIP, kicks off at the March regular monthly meeting of In Print, being held at the UIU Campus off Tebala Road in Rockford on March 9th, at 1pm.
If you or your teen has been looking for a writing group dedicated to nurturing the writing craft in the younger members of our community, look no longer—you have found it.
