Teaching teens how to drive safely is of the utmost importance. Even with driver's education available, parents cannot be guaranteed that their child will drive responsibly. Bridgestone’s Teen Drive Smart is coming to Arlington, and parents, you do not want to miss out. According to Bridgestone's Teens Drive Smart,

this program is geared to educate young drivers in the following areas:

· Define and identify distracted driving behaviors

· Identify the dangerous situations caused by distracted driving

· Develop a base understanding of driving principles

· Understand reaction times in emergency braking situations and how to

control your vehicle on slippery surfaces

· Identify accident avoidance and vehicle dynamics

This is a half-day program and there is no charge for participation. Hands-on experience will be combined with classroom teachings. Defensive driving skills will be emphasized along with smart decision-making, and fun interactive activities. Of course it is always best if parents are involved, so it is strongly encouraged that parents attend.
