A rendition of Elvis Presley's "Blue Christmas" by a 16-year-old teenager from Québec on local radio station, CKOI 102.1, has gone viral on social media today, Thursday, Dec. 12.

David Thibeault, the troubadour in question, appeared nervous during the initial interview before the song, but when it was time for him to perform, stunned the station with a rendition of Elvis' hit that made it feel like the King had been reincarnated in Canada.

Thibeault, like many new stars these days, first started his impersonation career by posting videos of himself remaking classic Presley tunes on the popular video sharing network, YouTube. Posting his first song, a version of "You'll never walk alone", about a year ago. He has since gone on to perform Elvis' classics throughout Canada, but has been relatively unknown outside the country.

His previous videos have all received over 10,000 views, but this is the first time that one of his remakes has reached the heralded 301+ view status. The generally accepted signal on Youtube that the video is going viral, as 301+ means views are going up too rapidly for the popular video site to keep a real-time count.

Check out the video of Thibeault performing "Blue Christmas" yourself, and leave a comment below and let us know if you think he sounds like Elvis or not.
