'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows' announced for PSN and XBLA

It's been a while since a good game for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles came out. Fans of the foursome remember the early romps in the arcade and their NES days. Many of quarters were spent and controllers broken in frustration by gamers trying to finish these games.

Thanks to the Xbox Live Arcade and Playstation Network, fans have been able to play the original arcade game and the remake of "Turtles In Time". Well, both services will play host to the Turtles game, titled "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows".

Announced today by Activision, the game is the first in a three game deal between Activision and Nickelodeon. The game will offer four player online co-op, and plenty of slicing and dicing action.

The game is expected to launch sometime in the next few months via the PSN and Xbox Live Arcade, the other two games in the series have yet to be announced. No price was mentioned either, but chances are it'll be at most $10 or 800 MS Points.

"Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows" is expected to launch for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 later this year.
