It is somewhat unbelievable when we think of teens as entrepreneurs, but Kimanni Thompson is no stranger to hard work and is the fashion designer and creator of the fashion brand Kimanni Kouture.

Kimanni was born in Washington, DC where she is the youngest of three children. At age 2, she was recognized and having an independence and strong personality. Kimanni began fashion designing at the age of 7 and her flair for fashion has been none stop. When Kimanni was only 9 years old, she created a business plan along with an outline of her dream to become an International fashion designer.

Since starting business, Kimanni has mainly used the business to give back to others by joining forces with charities to complete community efforts. Kimanni's goal in life is to end world hunger. Current honor roll student, has taken on several opportunities to enrich her current success. In recent years she acted as the student secretary and personal assistant with non-profit organization, M.A.D.E. (My Attitude Determines Everything)

In January 2013, Kimanni Kouture was born. The clothing brand mirrors Kimanni's personality, who considers herself to be creative, happy, full of energy, focus and strong. Kimanni Kouture was created for the everyday girl who dares to be different. Doing both the designing and production on her brand, Kimanni caters to sizes 4-16 and is able to complete specialty sizes upon request.

Being in business for only one year, Kimanni Kouture has been affiliated with at least 5 or more fashion events and has booked her schedule throughout this year as a featured designer of upcoming events. Recently, Kimanni Kouture partnered with Marcus Autism Center of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta to host Light It Up Blue 4 Autism Awareness Charity Fashion Show which will take place on April 2,2014. The proceeds will benefit Marcus Autism Center for Kids.
