'Teen Wolf' season 4 episode 9 promo and clip: Banshee predictions

"Teen Wolf" season 4 continues next week with episode 9, "Perishable," for which MTV released a new promo and a sneak peek on Monday, Aug. 11, during this week's "Wolf Watch" following "Time of Death."

In the latest episode of "Teen Wolf," Scott and the pack tried to lure out the Benefactor with Scott's death, but it only worked in the sense that Scott figured out that since the Benefactor didn't show up, he or she was a banshee; because of a banshee's connection to death, he or she would know. Meanwhile, Lydia got a quick lesson in family history from her mother about her grandmother, whose banshee abilities landed her in Eichen House, found that her urn was filled with mountain ash and not her ashes, and saw that the "last" thing she wrote was a code that suggests she's the Benefactor. Yep, her grandmother's probably alive.

In this next episode, an assassin targets Scott and Liam at the lacrosse team's annual bonfire. Then, Lydia uncovers a family secret. Plus, as we learned from Jeff Davis at Comic-Con, we'll be learning more about Deputy Parrish.

In the "Perishable" promo, Lydia says that her grandmother created the code for the dead pool – but she apparently adds a name herself to a list: Stiles. Where are Lydia and Stiles that she's yelling for someone to help them? Also, it looks like another assassin is after Scott, and he plans to burn him.

In this episode 409 sneak peek, it's time for both Derek and Scott to 'fess up about some things they've been hiding. For Derek, it's the loss of his powers, which is why Scott finds a gun in his loft. For Scott, it's that Derek's name unlocked the third part of the dead pool, and since they think a banshee wrote the list, well, everyone knows what that means, even though Scott tries to downplay it. "Banshees don't predict danger. They predict death," Derek reminds him.

"Teen Wolf" season 4 airs Mondays at 10 p.m. on MTV. What do you think of the episode 9 "Perishable" sneak peek and promo?
