Teen Satanist: Craigslist Killer claims 22 lives, Satanist cult cited in deaths

A teen Satanist is being called a new Craigslist Killer this week after allegedly claiming 22 or more lives throughout the U.S., with the deaths all said to be part of satanic cult efforts. The young woman from Pennsylvania, 19-year-old Miranda Barbour, is charged of murdering a man that she came in contact with through Craigslist. NBC News reveals this Monday, Feb. 17, 2014, that the suspect has recently opened up on her numerous murders and other crimes in a new interview that police officials are now investigating.

Along with her husband, 19-year-old teen Satanist Miranda Barbour is now in police custody for the killing of 22 people, and possibly more. The young woman’s latest murder is allegedly that of a man that the killer couple met via Craigslist, leading media sources to dub Barbour the “Craigslist Killer.” A jailhouse interview conducted with a local newspaper has the suspect reportedly saying she has slain well over 20 people from all over the U.S. in satanic cult rituals.

Via the Daily Item, Barbour is planning on pleading guilty to charges of killing Troy LeFerrara in cold blood back in Nov. 2013. In the horrifying interview, the teen Satanist is also heard saying that she has actively and purposefully claimed the lives of 22 other victims from North Carolina all the way to Alaska in the past six years. The deaths have been cited to be due to her involvement in a brutal cult, and now the Craigslist Killer wants to come clean with her crimes.

"I feel it is time to get all of this out. I don't care if people believe me. I just want to get it out," Barbour revealed in a statement to the newspaper.

Sunbury Police Chief Steve Mazzeo has confirmed that a team of investigators is now meeting with both the FBI and specialized law enforcement groups from across the U.S. to corroborate the woman’s story. Together, they hope to see whether any number of the 22 or more deaths that Barbour has claimed to have taken part in might lead them to murder victim cases.

"From information we gathered and from information gathered from her interview we are seriously concerned and have been in contact with the proper authorities," Mazzeo concluded in a public address.

The end of the interview says that this 19-year-old teen Satanist hopes to remain in jail for the rest of her life, as she feels that she will kill innocent people again if she is released.
