Ever since gaining fame from the MTV hit show, Maci Bookout has been using her platform to speak out about teenage pregnancy. She has done speaking engagements and been vocal about it on the show, including the after-shows. And according to a new Gather report released on Jan. 7, “Teen Mom” star Maci Bookout has a shocking new message for those who believe that getting pregnant while young will keep the boyfriend around. Of course, sharing statistics is one thing, but Maci knows that the boyfriends aren’t exactly mature enough to step up to the plate most of the time.
“Teen Mom” star Maci Bookout recently retweeted an important message about teenage pregnancy. “Sex won't make them yours; a baby won't make them stay. 8 out of 10 teen dads don't marry the teen mother of their babies. Sad but true,” read the message. And Maci is proving that she can make something good out of a not-so-good situation, as she is acting cordial with Ryan Edwards. It may have taken lots of time and heartbreak for them to work things out, but it appears that she can happily move on with new boyfriends without feeling bad.
This tweet could be “Teen Mom” star Maci Bookout’s way of encouraging girls to think differently when it comes to teenage love.
