‘Teen Mom’ star Maci Bookout encouraging self-esteem?

Ever since the girls wrapped the hit MTV show, Maci Bookout has been tweeting about her life, her friends, and sharing pictures of the growing Bentley. In addition, she has been retweeting various quotes and messages from fans that encourage self-esteem and promote safe sex to prevent teenage pregnancies across the country. And now, according to a new tweet released on Jan. 10, “Teen Mom” star Maci Bookout is encouraging that it is important for young people to stand up for what they believe in when it comes to doing right and wrong.

“As long as you remember, no matter what, you are the only one on your side... you'll be safe,” Maci shared. Of course, if someone doesn’t stand up and fight for something, it won’t get done because no one will do it for you. And this may be the message that “Teen Mom” star Maci Bookout is trying to share with her followers. She stands up for everything she believes in, including breaking up with guys if they don’t give her what she is looking for. Even after ending the filming for “Teen Mom,” Maci has been using her platform to spread the word about teenage pregnancy, including why girls should not use pregnancy to keep a guy around.

Do you think Maci is encouraging self-esteem and encouraging people to stand up for what they believe in? And do you think she will inspire people to do what they think is right, even if no one really believes in their ideas or plans?
