Teen Mom” star Kailyn Lowry has been focusing on her family over the past couple of months, but before she got married, she was working as a dental assistant. But it sounds like her future is not in the medical field. In fact, she has been working on a new career direction after making some great connections with the MTV crew. According to a new Wetpaint Entertainment report published on July 10, “Teen Mom” star Kailyn Lowry is now revealing that she is ready to take her education to the next level.

She has been working with the crew on “Teen Mom 2,” and they have become close friends. But now she is thinking that she may turn her passion into a reality, so she can be in front of the camera full time. She has announced that she is going back to school to get her bachelor’s degree. "I can't believe I'm actually going back to school," Kailyn has revealed. "Tomorrow I pick my classes! I may be late getting it but I will have my bachelors!"

She has revealed that she hopes to study TV, Radio and Film at Delaware State University. She has applied, but since she already has a partial degree in social work, it is possible that she can carry some of those electives over from her first degree. This would be able to save her some time. In addition, she does have a completed 12-week program in dental assisting and X-ray certification under her belt as well.

"If the opportunity arises I would love to be a host at some point," she dished. "I'm willing to work to get there and do behind-the-scenes production and that kind of stuff." She adds that she now has the support system to be able to finish school and do something great with her life. Even though she has two children, she has a supportive husband who would do anything for her, including help her out with the children.

She also adds that she is thrilled to have a supportive husband. "I need him to be able to take the kids if I need to go to class," she said. "I went to community college for two years with Isaac and I didn't really have anyone to help me so I felt like I slacked off a lot more than I should have. I definitely want to give it my all this time."

What do you think of her going back to school?
