'Teen Mom' star DUI: Farrah Abraham asks fans for beer before arrest

"Teen Mom" star DUI: Farrah Abraham was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence shortly after sending a message to her Twitter followers asking for beer. TMZ announced the arrest in a report dated March 20, 2013, pointing out one piece of good news. The reality star's daughter was not in the vehicle at the time of the incident.

There is no word on where the tot was staying while her mom was allegedly driving under the influence at 1 a.m. The child's father Derek Underwood died in a tragic motorcycle accident before his daughter was born, so Abraham would be well advised to be cautious when driving to ensure her daughter will still have one parent to raise her. Driving under the influence is not a responsible action. Hopefully it is not a mistake she will repeat.

The Daily Mail reported that the troubled former teen mom, who is now 21 years old, took to Twitter earlier in the day prior to her arrest to ask fans for beer. What may have been a joke has taken on far more serious overtones thanks to the "Teen Mom" star DUI.

After nearly hitting a police car with her vehicle, Abraham was apprehended and administered a breathalyzer test, which she failed. Her blood-alcohol level was reportedly a whopping .147, nearly twice the legal limit in Omaha where the "Teen Mom" star DUI took place.
