Although Lowell and her mother have gone through tough times in the past, they are apparently in a much better place and she couldn't be happier to be becoming a grandmother again.
"She called to ask me about a pregnancy test and if I thought she was pregnant," Stotts revealed of her daughter's pregnancy news. "So I made her send me a picture and I told her, 'I believe you are, you should go get a couple more and take a couple more.'"
Once Lowell found out for sure that she and Baltierra were expecting, she was overcome with joy.
As Stotts recalled, "She was crying when she knew for sure and so I was like, 'Are you happy? Are you upset?' And she was like 'I’m happy!'"
According to Stotts, Lowell is hoping for a girl, so she can buy "all the zebra stripes and pink stuff."
Although the baby news is exciting, for the most part, Lowell is reportedly worried about how her first child, Carly, 4, will feel once she finds out that they are keeping their second child.
She's a "little worried what Carly will think because she’s only going to be 5 in a couple of days and what her thoughts will be that they’re having a baby." But Stotts is doing her part to keep her calm and help her realize that Carly will be fine once she understands the situation completely.
"I’m like, it has been five years so…she’s loved, she knows all that," Stotts explained.
At the moment, Lowell and the rest of the girls of "Teen Mom," with the exception of Farrah Abraham, are in talks to return to the series for a possible fifth season. If the show does return to MTV, fans will likely get to see Lowell and Baltierra become parents for a second time.
