“Teen Mom” star Amber Portwood accepted a five-year jail sentence for various charges, including drug and assault charges. She has also suffered from anger management issues, but it sounds like she was able to get everything under control in jail. According to a new Wetpaint Entertainment report published on Nov. 4, “Teen Mom” star Amber Portwood has now been released even though she hasn’t exactly served her five-year sentence.
But freedom isn’t exactly freedom as she does have certain rules she has to follow. “Amber will have to report to a parole officer,” Douglas Garrison, the Chief Communications Officer for the Indiana Dept. of Corrections has revealed about Amber’s release. “The parole officer will make sure she finds employment, that she is living in an appropriate situation, and that she is staying clean. Amber will have to check in a couple of times a month with her parole officer. If she violates anything, she could go back to jail.”
Since she was booked for drug use, she will have to submit to various drug tests throughout her parole and she will have to work full-time to get back into a rhythm. One can imagine she would love to spend time with her daughter Leah. What do you think will happen now with Amber?
