'Teen Mom' season 5: New episodes will air in 2015, details on what's coming

It has been confirmed that there will be a "Teen Mom" season 5, with new episodes airing in 2015. The MTV reality show will have cast members Maci Bookout, Amber Portwood and Catelynn Lowell all returning. Earlier this year there were rumors that Farrah Abraham would not be on another season. Those rumors turned out to be true because she will not be seen on the upcoming season. On Aug. 13, WetPaint reported what can be expected when the girls return.

Fans have heard about Maci's boyfriend, Taylor McKinney, but in the new season it will be the first time viewers will actually see him on screen. The two have been together for two years and things must be going well because he moved from Texas all the way to Chattanooga to be with her. Her son, Bentley, is now 5 and she told Us Weekly that she and her family are in new and interesting places in their lives. She feels that she has grown up a lot since the last time she filmed and it will be interesting to show fans how their lives have evolved.

Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra worried fans when it was announced they were going to be on VH1's "Couples Therapy." But there was no reason to worry and the two are doing great. Fans have already heard the great news that they are expecting their second child together and they are planning a wedding.

Catelynn and Tyler gave up their first child, Carly, for adoption. She says that this time it's totally different, because it is their time to be parents. She added that they did "Teen Mom" to help others. She also said,

"Now people can see what it will be like to juggle the responsibilities of taking care of our new baby while navigating our relationship with Carly (their first child) and her adoptive parents.”

Amber has had a rough couple of years. She had an explosive temper and had issues with substance abuse. She ended up behind bars for 17 months, but since she is out, fans see a totally new and improved Amber Portwood. She is still sober and has a book that is due to be released later this month, titled "Never Too Late." Not only has she written a book, but she will be graduating from school in December and just started a job as a social marketing specialist.

Her daughter, Leah, just started kindergarten and even though her ex, Gary Shirley has full custody, Amber tries to spend as much time with her little girl as she can. She also revealed,

“I’ve changed so much that my focus and my goals are different than before.”

The last season ended in 2012, so there is a lot of catching up to do. Are you looking forward to "Teen Mom" season 5?
