Teen Mom” producers haven’t said much about the future of the show. The girls have been sharing pictures with people with cameras, which is making everyone think that the girls are filming a new season of the show, since the show is currently airing. However, it doesn’t sound like the producers and the MTV network is planning on extending the seasons of the show. The girls have grown up and the struggles have been criticized for not being real, since they are earning extra cash for filming the show. According to a new Radar Online report published on March 14, “Teen Mom” producers are now revealing that this will be the last season of the show.

“There is no season 6 of “Teen Mom 2,”” a production source revealed. “Season 5 is the girls’ last season.” The girls have been filming new episodes, meaning the new episodes will be a part of an extra long season of this current one. “They want to end “Teen Mom 2” with high ratings,” the insider said.

Of course, many are questioning why the show is coming to an end, because the ratings are high. Since Kailyn Lowry just had another son, people want to know how she is doing. “They are extending season 5,” the source said. “But no more after that.” A second source said, “Though it is not season six, per se, it’s pretty much another season. The girls already filmed a reunion for ‘season 5′ but this season is technically ‘season 5b.’”
