The rumors began when tweets about marriage were coming from her Twitter account. It turns out they were sponsored posts, but some "Teen Mom" fans are curious if it was Maci Bookout's way of getting some publicity. This was compounded when she tweeted that she was looking at wedding dresses.
First, there is nothing wrong with looking at wedding dresses whether you are engaged or not. There are a lot of people who do that. Not only are wedding dresses beautiful, but sometimes it is nice to just window shop while dreaming of the future.
As for those who say that she tweeted the rumors for publicity, it is unlikely. She has never displayed attention seeking traits and pretty much does her own thing, taking care of Bentley and focusing on her future.
The reality star has assured fans that she is not engaged and while some are disappointed, it might be a good thing. It isn't that she should not get married, but she and Taylor McKinney have only been dating a short time. As smart as Maci is, she is probably going to wait a while before tying the knot.
