On Dec. 20, just moments after Dalis Connell posted photos of herself modeling KoldNature own by Kyle King, Ryan Edwards proposed to “Teen Mom” star Maci Bookout. Ryan and Maci have been sharing custody of Bentley, age four, since he was born. Maci didn't want to be with Ryan after he decided that he would rather be with friends than help Maci with parenthood, school, and work so she started dating Kyle King.
In time, Ryan moved on and he started dating Dalis Connell. We’re not sure what happened, sources are pretty tight-lipped about the breakup, but we do know that it happened the same week her mother passed away, which was just last week. Dalis has mentioned in the past that Ryan has cheated on her. On Dec. 18 Dalis posted photos to her Twitter that showed her and King hanging out together at a nightclub in Nashville which immediately prompted dating rumors. Judging from her Twitter posts, many would confirm it to be true. It was reported that Maci and Ryan were at the same nightclub hanging out together at the bar and the two just started hanging out again after Ryan’s breakup and they began following each other on Twitter.
Bookout has since removed all of the tweets from her Twitter feed, but Ryan has proudly let his remain. On the “Teen Mom Reunion” special with Dr. Drew, Maci implied that there was more going on between her and Ryan than what he was telling Dalis.
Either way, despite many fans wanting the pair to reunite, it is possible that Ryan was just being his usual jokester self while drunk. It is also possible his phone was hijacked at the party, or his Twitter account was hacked. When asked by a friend of Maci’s "you still drunk," Ryan replied in a typo-laden tweet, "iamready for are oarty."
What appears to be Ryan’s last tweet about the event says “Never give up on what you believe is right….no matter what gets in the way!” which Maci retweeted.
It will be interesting to see how this all plays out for “Teen Mom” fans.
What do you guys think, was the marriage proposal real?
