Teen Mom 2” star Kailyn Lowry is opening up about her eating disorder in her new book, Radar Online reported on April 18.

Today, Kail, a mother of two, says that she is proud of her body. However, that wasn’t always the case.
The “Teen Mom” reveals that she suffered from bullemia and anorexia for years when she was younger, thanks to the harsh comments of her addict mother, Suzi.

Kailyn Lowry writes that her mother’s nickname for her was “Chunky Monkey,” and that her eating disorder started “at home.”

Lowry says she met a friend in school who had an eating disorder, and who taught her how to do it. “She encouraged me to start down the same path. We were a pair of anorexic teenagers who became caught up in an unhealthy trend,” she says in her memoir. “I didn’t want to weigh triple digits,” the 5’8’ reality star admits.

Unfortunately, Kailyn Lowry’s eating disorder is just the tip of the iceberg in her new book, “Pride Over Pity,” in which she details being raped, having an abortion, being homeless, and her health issues.

What are your thoughts on “Teen Mom” Kailyn Lowry’s eating disorder confession?
