“Teen Mom” Jenelle Evans and her mother, Barbara, have allegedly been keeping Jenelle’s son, Jace, away from his father, Andrew Lewis, Teen Mom News reported on Feb. 20.
According to the report, Andrew claims he’s made an effort to see his son, but that Jenelle and Barbara have refused him.
Andrew recently told In Touch Magazine about an incident a year ago when he contacted Barbara in hopes of seeing Jace. “I said ‘Hey Barbara, how are you, how’s Jace? And I was thinking about coming to visit, is it okay?’ She said ‘no’, and that’s it,” Lewis told the magazine.
So, why does Andrew feeling like now is the time to finally step up, and get involved in his son’s life? It’s all because of Jenelle Evans behavior. The “Teen Mom” has had a rough year that has seen her arrested, allegedly doing hard drugs, married, pregnant, having a miscarriage, and splitting from her husband.
“I didn’t know how permanent it would be,” Andrew said of signing over custody rights to Jenelle and Barbara. Andrew claims that after all of Jenelle’s troubles now “is the right time to get involved.”
Andrew Lewis also doesn’t like the fact that Jenelle Evans has so many men around their son. “She’s confusing her own child. One moment she’s with this guy, next moment she’s with that guy, next moment she’s with this guy. You’re confusing your own son.’ Why would you want to do that?”
“Teen Mom” fans don’t have much hope for Andrew ever being the kind of dad that Jace deserves.
