Catelynn Lowell announced her pregnancy earlier this month, and now, she's talking gender.

On Aug. 6, the former "Teen Mom" star announced she was expecting her second child with fiancé Tyler Baltierra and in a few days, she'll be finding out if she's having a boy or a girl.

"18 weeks as of midnight and 6 more days until we know if it's a boy or girl!" Lowell told fans on Instagram, according to an Aug. 12 report by The Stir. "#cantwait so excited to meet our little monkey!!"

Along with her Instagram post, Lowell shared a photo of her growing baby bump.

Lowell and Baltierra welcomed their first child in 2009 while cameras rolled for MTV's "16 & Pregnant." Although the pair was initially torn over what to do with the pregnancy, they ultimately decided that allowing their daughter to be adopted was the best decision.

Now that they are more stable, Lowell and Baltierra couldn't be more excited to be welcoming their second child, but if fans think they will reveal the child's gender when they find out, they may be in for a surprise. After all, Lowell waited months to announce her pregnancy -- even though her mother, April Stotts, confirmed the news to Us Weekly back in May.

In addition to her pregnancy secrecy, Lowell and the rest of the "Teen Mom" cast is reportedly filming for an upcoming installment of the series, which means she may be contractually obligated to keep certain things under wraps.

No word yet on what the "Teen Mom" project is or when it will make its debut.
