“Teen Mom 3” was cancelled over the weekend and it sounds like the dust has settled. The girls seemed very surprised that MTV would not continue with the show, especially since “Teen Mom” had four seasons, while “Teen Mom 2” will wrap up with five seasons next month. So, what happened with the third installment of the show? Well, it appears that the ratings were nowhere near as successful as the previous shows. According to a new Wetpaint Entertainment report published on Dec. 8, the “Teen Mom 3” stars are now reacting to the cancellation - and it sounds like they have mixed messages.
Some girls from “Teen Mom 2” seem to be relying on the show to pay their bills, but the new girls are not too worried about the show being cancelled. “Yes no more teen mom 3. Guess we weren't enough of train wrecks for it to be interesting. America wants to watch crazies oh well #relieved,” Alex revealed after learning the news. Briana Dejesus, on the other hand, seemed thankful, writing, “Teen mom 3 was one of the best experiences I ever had! I will never forget it!”
Mackenzie didn’t write much about the cancellation, but her mother seems very sad about the news. “I'm very sad MTV chose to cancel. I wanted to keep sharing my faith on TV. And Mack wanted to share her struggles with diabetes. So sad...” Angie Douthit revealed about the show. But Katie is eager to move on. “I'm grateful for this experience. Molli and I are ready to move on from this and live a normal life. Thanks for all the love and support,” Katie Yeager wrote on Twitter.
It sounds like none of the girls were planning on living on the income from the show. Are you sad to see the show end?
