Teen Mom 3” has been canceled. The MTV show will not return for a second season, The Huffington Post confirmed on Dec. 9.

According to the report, the network decided not to renew the show after the series suffered from low ratings and was deemed “boring” by many viewers.

The “Teen Mom 3” cast, Briana DeJesus, Alex Sekella, Katie Yeager, and Mackenzie Douthit have spoken out on Twitter about the cancelation.

This leaves fans worried about the “Teen Mom” franchise. The original series featuring Maci Bookout, Catelynn Lowell, Amber Portwood, and Farrah Abraham left the air after four seasons despite a huge fan following.

Meanwhile, “Teen Mom 2” featuring Jenelle Evans, Chelsea Houska, Kailyn Lowry, and Leah Messer is also high in ratings and will debut season 5 in January, but will it be the last for the franchise?

Is “Teen Mom” set to end for good in 2014, or will MTV find a new way to keep the dramatic moms on the network with spin-offs, specials, and more?
What do you think about “Teen Mom 3” being canceled by MTV? Will you miss the show?
