Leah Calvert has a new haircut, and it's causing quite the stir.
Earlier this month, the "Teen Mom 2" star chopped off her long hair and opted for a layered bob. Right away, fan criticism came pouring in, and judging by one of Calvert's rants, a particular beauty salon got in on the action.
According to a June 17 report by Wetpaint Entertainment, Calvert fought back against the salon's slams on her Facebook page.
"It's so sad that a hair stylist/owner of a salon would talk about a haircut looking like it was done at beauty school etc. Like it look horrible," Calvert wrote to fans. "Funny thing is the instructor that cut my hair has been in this career for almost 20 years."
As soon as Calvert's hair photo was posted, she began receiving a lot of flack. Many fans thought that the style aged her. Others compared the look to that of "Long Island Medium" star Theresa Caputo. While there were some that liked the look, there was a clear majority and it wasn't clearly causing Calvert stress.
"The talk your [sic] doing makes your salon look very trashy and so unprofessional and I don't even have to call you out. You should be uplifting to others in this career. We need less beauticians like you," she continued.
