Leah Calvert has been on the fence about getting a job for the last year or so.

Although the "Teen Mom 2" star worked for a tanning salon for a few weeks last year, she eventually quit, telling fans she was planning to open her own salon, but later appeared to can the idea.

Now, Calvert is once again going back to work as a Mary Kay consultant, sharing products online and hosting parties wherever the job takes her. In addition, she has taken it upon herself to start her own online hobby where she will share her beauty tips with fans.

Unfortunately, her fans aren't really feeling the idea.

"I'm so excited to release some beauty tips and secrets via YouTube as soon as I get back from Columbus!" Calvert announced on Twitter on April 22.

Right away, fan criticism came pouring in. Many fans pleaded with Calvert, requesting she not give beauty tips. "Please don't," a handful of followers said. Others were more blunt, saying things such as "maybe you should fix that ratty dead hair you have. And your trashy makeup before you do that!" and "LOL! BEAUTY TIPs! HELL NO- if they are anything like how you put makeup on your kids face and yours, I'll pass!."

Others posted photos of Calvert and others with clumped on makeup. One user posted a side-by-side photo of Calvert and Kathy Kinney's character on "The Drew Carey Show," which was a woman known for her clown-like makeup and bright blue eyeshadow.

A short time after her announcement, as backlash from the idea continued to pour in, Calvert returned to Twitter where she wrote, "Probably the worst day/evening I've had in a while.."
