Everyone knows by now that "Teen Mom 2" star Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin are already hitched, but the couple was planning on having a big wedding for friends and family this fall. Unfortunately, The Stir reports on March 13 that they are having to postpone the wedding because of an unpleasant surprise that she received while doing her taxes.
While doing her taxes, Kail found out that she owes the IRS thousands of dollars in taxes because of how she receives her MTV money and royalties. Because she isn't an employee of MTV all the money she receives has no taxes deducted from it until the end of the year. Considering the large amount she makes each show, she should have been paying quarterly taxes to avoid a huge tax bill, however, she likely didn't.
Since she was also married in 2012, she will also have to factor in any money that Javi Marroquin, her, now, husband made from the Air Force and any other jobs that she or he held throughout the year. Kail recently tweeted that she has to postpone the wedding despite nearly everything being set because it isn't in the budget.
It is a very smart decision on Kailyn's part to hold off on the big, fun wedding than to have the IRS chase after her for money she has spent otherwise.
