Kailyn Lowry, “Teen Mom 2” star, revealed she has bipolar disorder in an interview with Starcasm. According to People on Jan. 31, Lowry found out about her disorder during a series of counseling sessions.
The counseling sessions began after a huge argument with her husband Javi Marroquin and his family. The argument was not discussed in detail as to what happened since it took place in the season four MTV reality show that has not yet aired
Lowry wanted to apologize ahead of time for the things she said and her actions. Marroquin has forgiven Lowry for the argument with he and his family.
“I just want to publicly apologize in advance to my fans. And even though Javi and I have moved on from it, I want to say I’m sorry again to him and his family for letting my emotions get the best of me. I know how humiliating that is for them and I’m humiliate myself.”
Kailyn Lowry has a three year old son, Isaac, with her ex-boyfriend Jo Rivera. Rivera appeared in the first few seasons of the series. Lowry and Javi Marroquin announced their engagement in September and got married the same month in a secret ceremony. The reason for the quick wedding was due to Javi leaving for the Air Force.
It is great when a celebrity can admit that they have problem like bipolar disorder. It shows fans that even people on TV can have problems. Hats off to Kailyn for sharing her disorder and getting the help she needs.
