'Teen Mom 2' star Jenelle Evans files assault charges against husband

Jenelle Evans, the “Teen Mom 2” star, and Courtland Rogers didn’t seem to stay blissfully happy for very long. Evans is accusing Rogers of physically assaulting her according to E! News on Jan. 23.

Jenelle’s attorney, Dustin R.T. Sullivan, told E! News that Jenelle has taken out charges on her husband for assault on a female with an unborn child. The charges were filed today in Brunswick County. These types of charges are considered misdemeanors.

Sullivan did not provide any specific details about the assault but did say that it happened over a period of time. Evans took to Twitter like usual to make their fight public. She referenced getting a divorce and possible miscarriage.

Jenelle Evans seems to still be having problems even though she has repeatedly said she is doing better. It was only a few days ago that she and Courtland Rogers announced her pregnancy. Now they are heading to court on Feb. 18 for assault charges and possibly a divorce in the near future.
